TheTeam Behind West Tipperary Chartered Physiotherapy
Dan Quirke
Dan graduated with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2015 and is both ISCP and CORU registered. He has built his career through a wide range of clinical roles and continues to develop his expertise through further training and professional development. His key interests include ACL rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, and helping athletes return to peak performance.
Extensive Clinical Experience Has held roles within the HSE, including Croom Orthopaedic Hospital, University Hospital Limerick, and community primary care at senior level.
Sports Physiotherapy Expertise Private practice experience with Tipperary senior hurlers, Limerick footballers, and local GAA clubs including Oola, Doon, and Cappawhite.
Specialist Training Additional qualifications in dry needling, strength and conditioning in sports performance.
Paddy Julian
Paddy graduated with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from UCD in 2004 and is an experienced physiotherapist with specialist expertise in musculoskeletal triage, sports injuries, and rehabilitation. He has progressed from junior rotations to Clinical Specialist level within the HSE, while also working extensively with inter-county GAA teams. Paddy has further developed his skills through advanced training with the Royal College of Surgeons Dublin and University College London.
Extensive Clinical Experience Has held HSE roles specialising in trauma, orthopaedics, fracture clinics, musculoskeletal triage, and rehabilitation.
Sports Physiotherapy Expertise Lead physiotherapist with Tipperary and Waterford senior hurlers and Limerick senior footballers, contributing to All-Ireland titles and National League successes.
Specialist Training Post-graduate qualifications in strength & conditioning (Santry Sports Clinic), dry needling, real-time ultrasound, intra-articular injections (Royal College of Surgeons Dublin), and paediatric orthopaedics & rheumatology (University College London).
